What this job involves:
Support strategic capital planning for JLL's financial services client account, managing one of the most sophisticated real estate portfolios in the financial services sector. As Senior Finance Manager for Capital Management, you'll drive critical decision-making processes around capital allocation and asset optimization across the client’s diverse real estate holdings. This high-impact role requires deep financial expertise and strategic thinking to support both organizations' growth objectives.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Oversee the capitalization of project manager labor to projects, including providing execution guidance, supporting the determination and documentation of labor allocation percentages to capital projects, and periodically reviewing and updating allocations as needed.
- Identify capital spend processed through the expense budget. Support process of reclassing to capital projects.
- Monitor capital deployment against approved budgets, providing regular reporting and variance analysis to senior leadership
- Support the capital planning process, collaborating with project managers on timely and accurate submissions
- Maintain sophisticated financial models and databases to track capital performance and support strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field with 8+ years of capital management experience
- CFA, CPA, or advanced degree (MBA/MS Finance) strongly preferred
- Proven experience in real estate capital markets or corporate finance
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Experience managing large capital budgets ($100M+) and complex investment portfolios
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banking or financial services real estate operations
- Knowledge of financial services business model and real estate strategy
- Experience with real estate investment software (Argus, CoStar, etc.)
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior executives
- Project management certification or demonstrated project leadership experience
Estimated compensation for this position:
125,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
