Job Description:
This role supports and modernizes the client's cloud and on-prem infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure governance, optimization, data center buildouts, and global hardware refresh initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead Azure governance, monitoring, alerting, and optimization efforts

• Support and maintain Azure and on-prem infrastructure environments

• Help design, build, and stand up data center environments from the ground up

• Manage and support VMware infrastructure

• Drive hardware refresh and replacement projects for global office locations

• Partner cross-functionally with IT teams and business stakeholders

• Present technical findings, recommendations, and improvement plans to leadership

• Identify root causes, resolve issues, and recommend long-term preventative solutions

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 4-year degree in Information Systems or a related field

  • Strong hands-on experience managing Azure environments

  • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, governance, and automation in Azure

  • VMware administration experience

  • Experience setting up data center environments from the ground up

  • Strong infrastructure support experience across cloud and on-prem systems

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executive stakeholders

  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and work effectively with multiple stakeholders

  • Growth mindset with a proactive, forward-thinking approach to problem solving

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience supporting global infrastructure environments

  • Experience with hardware lifecycle refresh projects

  • Exposure to multi-site office or international infrastructure rollouts

  • Prior experience in a senior systems administration role within a complex environment
