Primary Therapist, Adolescent Residential Treatment Program

(Associate or Licensed Clinician - LSW/LCSW or ALMFT/LMFT)

Location: Lombard, IL, Onsite/In-Person

Are you searching for a meaningful clinical role where you can support adolescents through some of the most important moments in their lives? Our residential treatment center in Lombard, Illinois is hiring a Primary Therapist to provide mental health treatment, family therapy, and behavioral health support to teens in our program. This is an in-person, onsite therapist position serving the Chicago suburban area.

About the Role
As a Primary Therapist, you’ll work with adolescents facing mental health and substance use challenges. You’ll provide therapeutic services, coordinate care, complete documentation, and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team. What You’ll Do
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescent clients
• Complete treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Use evidence-based therapy approaches to support mental health and substance use recovery
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and outside providers
• Maintain compliance with all state licensing, clinical standards, and documentation requirements
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinical environment

Qualifications
• Associate or Licensed - LSW/LCSW or ALMFT/LMFT is required
• One to two years of counseling experience, ideally in adolescent, residential, or behavioral health treatment
• Strong understanding of family systems, crisis intervention, and co-occurring disorders
• Experience supporting clients with both mental health and substance use concerns is helpful
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to client progress
