The Role

We’re hiring a part-time Social Media Manager for 20 hours per week. This experienced person owns the day-to-day content operation across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, writes one SEO-focused blog post per week for our website, and edits all event content from our shoots. The work is creative and operational in equal parts.

The ideal candidate has experience growing other brands (ideally in the culinary space), is incredibly organized, based in Chicago and able to come in for hybrid in-person work, but a strong remote candidate will be equally considered.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and execute content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

• Edit photo and video content from events and shoots

• Schedule and post all content across platforms daily, with a 2 week lead time.

• Write one SEO-optimized blog post per week for the Vendador website using Clause AI

• Caption, copywrite, and hold brand voice in every post

• Track performance and adjust the strategy based on what is working

• Collaborate directly with Francis and Erinn on creative direction

• Use Claude (AI) as a daily working partner for drafting, editing, and tuning content to our voice

Required Experience

This is not an entry level position.

• Several years of professional social media management experience, not personal account growth

• Proven track record managing brand account(s) with documented results

• Must be able to show specific metrics: account growth numbers, engagement rate changes, reach or impression lifts, content performance data, or campaign results from previous roles

• Direct experience strategizing content for at least one previous company or brand

• Portfolio of work that demonstrates editing skill across both photo and video

Preferred Experience

• Background in food, luxury, or hospitality brands

• Experience working with founder-led or chef-led brands

• Familiarity with high-net-worth audience and tone

• SEO blog writing experience for website (supported by Claude AI)

Who You Are

• A strong writer with a real point of view and a sharp ear for tone

• Excited, driven, and self motivated to grow accounts that are already large, which comes with different hurdles than starting from the bottom

• Comfortable with AI tools, specifically Claude, and able to train and refine an AI workflow to hold our brand voice

• Organized to independently run a content calendar without being micromanaged

• Genuinely interested in food, hospitality, and the world we work in

• Able to take direct feedback and move fast. last minutes requests happen weekly, if not daily

Logistics

• 20 hours per week

• Hybrid Chicago preferred, remote equally considered

• Compensation: $1600 per month

• Start date: June 15
