Mold Technician: McHenry, Illinois

Our customer in McHenry, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. As a Mold Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, setup, and repair of injection molds and tooling to ensure efficient production operations.

Responsibilities of the Mold Technician:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on all tooling, fixtures, and special equipment.
• Complete predictive and preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Inspect and report visual defects in molds to the Tooling Manager.
• Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
• Retrieve molds from storage for production use and store them properly after job completion.

Mold Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a plastic injection mold technician or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Forklift and crane operation experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement.

Pay for Mold Technician: Starting at $20–$23 per hour , based on experience.
