Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for picking various components and sub-assemblies weighing up to 40 pounds based on a manual pick sheet. Your daily tasks will include picking 80-120 orders, with each order containing 1-4 lines, depending on demand. You will pick products from the warehouse to be shipped using UPS manifests, print labels for shipping, and manually load and unload trucks. Training on a sit-down forklift will be provided, and potential training on a stand-up forklift for heavier orders may be available.

Responsibilities

• Pick components and sub-assemblies weighing up to 40 pounds based on manual pick sheets.
• Complete 80-120 orders daily, each with 1-4 lines.
• Use UPS manifests to pick, label, and ship products.
• Manually load and unload trucks, with future training on sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Ensure accurate and efficient order picking and shipping.

Essential Skills

• Experience with stand-up forklifts (Crown or similar).
• Proficiency in picking and loading/unloading tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and UPS manifests.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with UPS shipping processes is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
