About the Role

As a Dietary Aide at Moraine Court Supportive Living, you will play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents. You’ll assist with meal preparation and service, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and follow all food safety regulations. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on residents’ daily lives.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting

• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service according to dietary guidelines and resident needs

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces

• Support inventory management and help with ordering food and supplies

• Follow all food safety regulations, ensuring proper storage and handling of food

• Communicate with residents, families, and team members to create a positive dining experience
