The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .
Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student - Data Analytics for John Deere Financial in Johnston, IA or John Deere Commons in Moline, IL , you will:
- Assist the Global Workforce Analytics team with data requests.
- Ensure data integrity by reviewing and validating information across platforms.
- Learn and apply data science techniques to audit, clean, transform, validate, and analyze workforce data.
- Automate and optimize repetitive data tasks using scripting or workflow tools (e.g., Python, Power Automate).
- Design and maintain analytics products and reporting that inform business decisions.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data protection when handling sensitive HR information.

What Skills You Need
- School and/or work experience analyzing text and/or numerical data
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
- Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/weekly
- Must be able to commute to John Deere Financial in Johnston, IA or John Deere Commons in Moline, IL
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with Python and SQL programming languages
- Experience with Power Automate
- Experience developing in Tableau and/or Power BI
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Ideally pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Stats, or Human Resources (others may apply)
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
