Merchandise Manager (Elk Grove Village)
A long-standing wholesale distributor is looking for a hands‑on, creative, and highly organized Merchandising Manager to lead showroom presentation, trade show execution, and large‑scale merchandising setups for key customers nationwide.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee and maintain merchandise displays in the corporate showroom
- Plan, coordinate, and execute trade show setups
- Lead all aspects of trade show operations: picking, unloading, setup, breakdown, and on‑site sales support
- Ensure timelines, product flow, and logistics run smoothly and efficiently
- Travel to customer locations to build larger‑scale merchandising displays
- Manage and fulfill customer sample requests
- Lead, train, and support a small merchandising team
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of merchandising experience (retail or wholesale)
- It is a plus if you have had experience and enjoy managing the stocking of shelves in a retail environment
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
- Willingness to travel (typically 2–3 nights per month; up to one week twice per year)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
