Air Export Operations Associate

LaSalle Network is hiring for an Air Export Operations Associate to join the Air Export Gateway team of a global logistics and freight forwarding company in Wood Dale, Illinois. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build a foundation in international air freight and logistics.

This role offers hands-on training in air export operations, airline booking coordination and gateway logistics, working alongside an experienced six-person team that values dependability, attention to detail and ownership. Responsibilities

• Coordinate air freight bookings with airline carriers
• Track shipments and update departure and arrival information
• Support shipment consolidations and Master Air Waybills
• Communicate with internal offices regarding shipment requests and changes
• Monitor airline schedules, cargo cutoff times and shipment deadlines
• Work with warehouse teams to help ensure freight moves on schedule
• Review shipment information for accuracy
• Respond quickly to email and Teams communication
• Assist with delays, corrections and other shipment issues
• Take on greater ownership of air export shipments as experience develops

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing or supply chain is a plus but not required
• No specific degree, certification or software experience required
• Must be comfortable with a rotating monthly schedule (Monday–Friday one month, Tuesday–Saturday the next)

• Compensation: $21-$23 per hour
