Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain advanced CNC machines for the production of high-precision aerospace and automotive components. As a CNC Machinist with our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring that all parts meet the highest industry standards, and maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce high-precision components for aerospace and automotive industries.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure parts are manufactured to exact tolerances.
- Program and adjust CNC machines using appropriate software (e.g., CAD/CAM systems), including tool offsets, feeds, and speeds.
- Inspect and verify finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues, including minor repairs and maintenance, to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to continuously improve production processes and ensure top-notch product quality.
- Ensure all work meets strict aerospace and automotive industry quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a CNC Machinist in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Knowledge of aerospace and automotive industry standards is a plus.
