Charge Nurse (PRN)

Eden Vista Hoffman Estates , a well-established and a trusted provider in the assisted living space, and a proud member of Vista Senior Living, is looking for a Charge Nurse to enrich the lives of our residents.

Position: Charge Nurse (PRN)

Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to be on-call 24/7 for all shifts Monday through Sunday.
• This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
• Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
• Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
• Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience:

• Licensed with current Illinois nursing licensure required.
• Degree from an accredited RN/LPN program.
• Experience with applicable state Survey Rules Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
• Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
• Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
