Industrial Painter - 1st Shift
Location: Huntley, IL
Pay: Up to $25/hour (based on experience)
Does the following describe you?
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, experience with various painting techniques, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role offers the opportunity for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces for application of industrial paints
- Organize parts for paint runs by color and type of material
- Apply finish of industrial surface direct to metal enamel, with polane catalyst and high flash naphtha reducer
- Maintain a clean work area including paint guns, booth, and filter system
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of paints, supplies, and painting equipment
- Experience with forklift and scissor lifts
- Excellent time management and strong attention to detail
- Auto body painting experience preferred
