Automatic Press Brake Operator
The Press Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press machinery and monitor production processes
- Perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and report defects, abnormalities, or equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude required
- Hands-on experience with tools or machinery (automotive repair, mechanical work, or minor machine repair strongly preferred)
- Comfortable “turning a wrench” and making minor equipment adjustments
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and problem-solve
- Strong attention to detail; ability to recognize noises, jams, or defects
- Ability to follow safety procedures, including LOTO and proper PPE use
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the company
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:45 AM
- Must be flexible to work up to 4:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Training required on 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM (4–6 weeks)
