Accountant/Office Manager
Job Summary — The Accountant/Office Manager will be responsible for accounting functions for the office, maintaining the office and ensuring supplies and the facility are in order, and acting as a liaison between staff and the Human Resources Manager as needed.
- Over the counter sales tickets
- Job billing, financials, and creation
- Inventory transfers
- Monthly sales tax and other taxes as calculated by CIH
- Month end reconciliation as well as year end
- Track and process office credit card expense reports
- Deposits
- Creation of new accounts
- ACH fraud processing
- Collections, AIA Billings, and Lien Waivers
- Bank reconciliations until moved to CIH
- Assist with Human Resources: new hire orientations, communicating staff issues to HR Manager, and other duties as assigned
- Accounting
- Human Resources liaison functions
- Maintaining banking relationships
- Using office equipment to complete tasks
- Timely and professional correspondence through email
- Ordering and managing inventory
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Assisting with phones as needed
- Demonstrable experience with multiple accounting functions to include AR/AP/Billing
- Pre-employment background screening
- No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 20lbs.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Textura and Procore preferred
