Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative acts as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth order process, strong communication, and high service levels. This role works cross-functionally with sales, operations, and logistics teams to support customer needs and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customers, handling inquiries, orders, and issue resolution
• Partner with internal teams (sales, supply chain, logistics) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Process, track, and manage customer orders from entry through delivery
• Handle customer requests related to pricing, product availability, and lead times
• Resolve order discrepancies, billing issues, and customer complaints
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of service
• Monitor order activity and proactively address potential service issues
• Coordinate inventory and replenishment needs with internal and external partners
• Support reporting and analysis related to customer activity and service levels
• Assist team members as needed to manage workload fluctuations

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (Supply Chain, Business, or related)
• 3+ years of customer service or operations support experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar strongly preferred)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing or industrial environment
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or order management
• Experience with international documentation (nice to have)
