Being a Senior Product Manager at iManage Means…

You have a passion for the products, services, and features we create to solve real problems in the markets we serve. It means you are a catalyst for change, bringing relevant data and facts to influence teams to build compelling features that truly change outcomes for our customers and partners, making them more efficient, more secure, and more connected. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for our governance ecosystem, empowering organizations to manage information lifecycles with confidence and control.

This is a cross-functional role that will drive the product strategy, vision and implementation of records management, matter mobility, threat analytics, information barriers, and governance best practices to enable data-driven decision making by iManage and our customers. You will sit at the intersection of customer needs, market opportunity, and platform capabilities, where your decisions directly impact how Knowledge Workers across legal, compliance, and enterprise sectors manage their most critical information assets.

iM Responsible For…

  • Creating and evangelizing a product vision that delivers valuable, usable, and actionable insights to internal and external customers.
  • Helping drive the direction and product strategy and defining requirements for capabilities across the iManage security, governance, risk, and compliance products, with a focus on records management, threat analytics, and matter mobility.
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and maintaining product backlog.
  • Building and articulating product roadmap.
  • Running product advisory panels with key customer participation.
  • Working with product and engineering owners across the company to adopt and implement information governance practices that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Working with other product team members to ensure the features we ship are delivering desirable customer outcomes.
  • Monitoring market competition and developing competitive differentiation strategies.
  • Communicating proactively and effectively with key internal stakeholders throughout the product release cycle.

iM Qualified Because I Have…

  • 8+ years of product management experience for B2B SaaS offerings, with proven success shipping products at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of the information governance market, including physical and electronic records management, matter transfer workflows, legal holds and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with information governance across areas such as physical and electronic records management, information classification (including AI-assisted classification), and matter transfers, particularly as they apply to the legal industry.
  • Experience shipping governance or compliance-focused products, with demonstrable customer relationships in legal and enterprise sectors.
  • Proven track record of building applications or capabilities that achieved broad adoption and measurable customer outcomes.
  • The ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and go-to-market.
  • Experience communicating with and building relationships with key customers and prospects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and messaging in writing and in person.
  • Strong analytical skills, including market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Motivation to drive product objectives from concept through completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to continually learn and adapt to changes in markets, technology, and customer needs.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Law, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Don't meet every qualification listed above? Studies show that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet all qualifications. At iManage, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment, and encourage everyone to show up as their full authentic selves. We welcome those that come with a growth mindset and a hunger for learning; so, if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification we encourage you to apply anyways!
