WHAT WE DO
At Relativity, engineers do more than write code - they build systems that enable users to uncover insights from complex data at scale using cloud-native architecture, AI, and modern tools.

The Enrichment team focuses on efficiently processing and preparing vast volumes of complex data for use within the Relativity platform. Build systems that ingest terabytes of structured and unstructured data into the review platform. Modernize user experiences while solving challenges related to large-scale document processing and data extraction. Work with secure SaaS infrastructure to deliver high-speed, reliable data processing capabilities.

Job Description and Requirements

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Engineer at Relativity, you will use your development expertise to build and enhance the Relativity platform. You will contribute to solving complex engineering problems while working on a highly scalable, dynamic web system leveraging modern, cloud-based and serverless technologies.

You will design and build distributed systems composed of multiple databases, processing layers, and web servers operating across massive datasets. As part of the Enrichment team, you will help modernize the product experience and tackle large-scale data ingestion and processing challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design performant, scalable, and secure software with a strong focus on quality
  • Collaborate with a software development team to deliver high-quality solutions that operate on data at massive scale
  • Build and maintain distributed systems leveraging modern cloud and serverless technologies
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing and static analysis
  • Improve software development processes by recommending enhancements to tools, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in pair programming to strengthen code quality and share knowledge across the team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Experience with object-oriented programming using C#, Java, or similar languages
  • Experience building REST APIs
  • Experience working on an agile software development team
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices across the application stack

Preferred

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience designing and building scalable solutions in Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and serverless technologies
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event-Driven Architecture
  • Strong awareness of emerging technology trends and their practical applications

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$79,000 and $119,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
