Position Overview:

We are seeking an Receptionist / Administrative Support professional to provide essential administrative assistance in our McHenry and Barrington offices. This role may involve floating between both office locations based on the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and possess excellent customer service skills. You will help ensure smooth office operations, greet clients, manage phone calls, and support the team with various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Greet clients with a friendly and professional demeanor as they arrive at either the McHenry or Barrington office.
  • Phone Management: Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate staff, and respond to inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Document Management: Organize, scan, and file incoming documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, especially when floating between office locations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members in both offices, fostering a cooperative and efficient environment.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various office duties, including organizing files, scheduling, and supporting the accounting team as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of administrative experience is needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally in person and over the phone.
  • Attitude: Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to adapt to working in both the McHenry and Barrington office locations as needed.
