A K-12 school in Elgin, IL is seeking a licensed Social Worker to provide support during a leave contract. This role focuses on addressing student social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote a positive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Assess student needs, participate in eligibility meetings, and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Connect students and families with munity resources and support services
• Maintain accurate documentation and ply with state and district policies

Qualifications:

• Valid state Social Work license or certification for school settings
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
• Strong knowledge of mental health issues, child development, and social services
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
