Product Manager, Marketing Technology and Operations (Remote)

About the Role:

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will report directly to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for building the technical foundation that will power our next stage of growth.

  • Own and Evolve our Marketing Infrastructure and Technology: You will be the single owner of our entire marketing technology stack. Your job is to audit, select, implement, and integrate the tools that will give our team a competitive edge. You'll be pragmatic, always looking for the best and simplest way to get the job done.
  • Pioneer our AI-First Future: You will champion the adoption of AI across all marketing functions. This means not just finding new tools, but designing and implementing AI-driven workflows that boost our performance, efficiency, and creativity. Where necessary, you will also be responsible for communicating and training others in the department on these new AI processes.
  • Command the Technical Health of our Website: You will own the website's performance and technical operations. You'll be responsible for site speed and uptime. You will also be the driving force behind implementing complex technical projects, such as programmatic SEO, and ensuring all technical SEO recommendations are executed flawlessly. Critically, you will own the strategic decision on whether to in-source or outsource website engineering, and if we bring development in-house, you will manage that team.
  • Ensure our Emails Get Delivered: You will own our email sending infrastructure and be our deliverability expert. Our communications with prospects and customers must be reliable and effective.
  • Be the Guardian of our Marketing Data: Building on the excellent foundation our team has already created, and working with our centralised analytics function, you will own our marketing data infrastructure. This includes managing data flows, ensuring data hygiene, and working with our analytics partners to create the reporting systems that empower data-driven decisions across the team. You'll be expected to dive deep into the details to ensure our metrics are sound.
  • Empower the Entire Marketing Department: You are a key enabler of success for everyone else. Your primary goal is to leverage technology to develop scalable marketing processes that enable the entire department to operate more quickly and efficiently.

About You:

  • You are genuinely 'AI-first.' You have a strong track record of implementing AI tools and workflows to drive meaningful business results.
  • You are a seasoned Product Manager. You have extensive, hands-on experience managing a modern, complex B2B PLG SaaS marketing tech stack. You have a knack for deeply understanding the problems and needs of your internal customers (our marketing team) and can translate those needs into a clear technical roadmap. You know how to prioritize effectively to ensure your team is building a solid foundation that allows the entire department to move faster.
  • You are a master communicator and translator. You can go deep into the technical weeds with engineers one moment, and in the next, clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members in a way that is empowering and easy to understand.
  • You are a true technical expert. You understand AI, website architecture, data infrastructure, and the nuances of email deliverability. You have the technical prowess to hold your own with developers.
  • You are a builder at heart. No task is beneath you. You have intense analytical rigour and are comfortable getting your hands dirty to audit a workflow, check a data flow, or solve a technical problem.
  • You are egoless and deeply helpful. You understand that your success is measured by the success of the team you support. You are effective at not just communicating problems, but finding their root causes and solving them.
