Maintenance Technician

**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Additionally, you will mentor junior technicians, contributing to their professional growth. **Responsibilities** + Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. + Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation. + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays. + Maintain positive working relationships across all of the Operations facility. + Track and store department inventory. + Move up to 50 lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls. + 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment. + 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. + 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication. + 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading. + 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. + Must be able to use a multimeter. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field. + 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field. + Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards. + Project Management experience. + Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Experience with robotic operation and maintenance. + Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy weekly pay, comprehensive benefits starting on your first day, and numerous advancement opportunities. Physical demands include the ability to reach arms above the head, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. You will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures and may be required to walk 6 to 12 miles per day. Tasks may require wearing a mask, face shield, and composite-toed boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Huntley, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62337.60 - $62337.60/yr.
