Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Shift: 12-Hour Continental | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Rotating)
Compensation: $37.00 – $45.00/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential
Employment: Full-Time | Direct Hire

About the Facility
A flexible packaging manufacturer running a blend of modern automation and proven legacy assets: slitters, laminators, and flexographic printing lines—plus the auxiliary systems that keep them humming.
Your Impact
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems across production equipment
- Follow LOTO and safe operating procedures; promote a zero-incident mindset
- Read/interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs to drive effective repairs
- Use a multimeter to test motors, contactors, relays, and related components
- Diagnose PLC-controlled systems and electrical controls
- Service and maintain chillers, compressors, and process/ink/glue pumps
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
- Identify root causes and log work accurately in the CMMS
- Ensure safe, efficient operation of all production machinery
Tools and Systems You’ll Touch
- PLC and motor control systems
- Multimeters and electrical test gear
- CMMS for work orders and documentation
- Flexible packaging equipment: slitters, laminators, flexo presses
- Facilities systems: chillers, compressors, process pumps
What We’re Looking For
- Industrial or military maintenance experience
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
- PLC, motor controls, and industrial controls experience (preferred)
- Flexible packaging exposure (extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting) is a plus
- Forklift experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable on ladders and lifts
- Independent off-shift performer; open to overtime and weekends
