Director of Nursing

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare standards.
• Manage the budget for the nursing department, including staffing and supply expenses.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve patient outcomes.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a healthcare facility with Medicare patients.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
