Process Engineer

Job Description

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on automated equipment and production machinery.

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Diagnose mechanical failures involving gears, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, and machine assemblies.

• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, alignments, and system adjustments.

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

• Document all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety standards and procedures.

• Recommend mechanical improvements to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Itasca, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
