Manufacturing production lead

We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Team Leads for 1st and 2nd shift to oversee daily operations on the production floor. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. In this role, you’ll lead a team within the valve cell and other machining departments, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development.

Production Lead -Manufacturing (1st & 2nd Shift Available)

Location: Broadview, IL

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Position

Pay Range: $20.00-28.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule : 1st Shift: Starting at 6:00 AM - 2nd Shift: Starting at 2:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Lead daily operations by planning work schedules and assigning tasks to meet production targets.

• Support and enforce Lean Manufacturing principles and safety protocols.

• Train and mentor team members on machine operation, safety practices, and company procedures.

• Collaborate with other departments to improve production efficiency while meeting department goals.

• Communicate real-time updates and performance reports to management.

• Contribute to a positive, productive, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to generate reports.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

• Ability to motivate teams and ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
