Develops, implements and monitors strategies to ensure all goals, objectives, and long-range plans are achieved that parallel with the overall organizational goals. Ensures all underwriting, issuance, administration and other procedures required by our carrier partners, state insurance departments, as well as all office operating procedures are in accordance with CRC standards while developing and maintaining sustainable business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide effective leadership that ensures that the business objectives are met for program, carrier, office and team. Create an invaluable management structure and control system.
Exercise appropriate budgetary control.
Develop, maintain and cultivate client and agent relationships.
The ability to communicate, coordinate and be effective in bringing various internal and external groups together to drive the success of the program. These include but are not limited to IT, Finance, internal audit, claims, vendor management, facilities, marketing and communications, HR, compliance, etc.
Meet or exceed production, margin, and employee development goals as assigned by CRC. Solicit, market, quote, bind, and confirm new and existing business.
Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets. Ensure submissions reflect accurate data such as risks and coverages.
Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures. Ensure production employees meet or exceed assigned goals.
Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
Represent the firm in a professional manner with all clients and business partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
Five years of experience in underwriting, production and marketing of new accounts
Experience managing a large staff
Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and an ability to communicate and influence at all levels
Clear and consistent leadership of staff
Must have strong carrier relationships as well as broker/agent relationships
Must be able to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
Excellent marketing and brokering skills
Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated
Recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate that into your strategy
Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies
Must possess and maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
Good written, verbal and presentation skills
Maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of clients, agents/brokers, carriers, internal management and new business opportunities
Ability to work extended hours when necessary
