Agio Italian Bistro is a family-owned restaurant serving upscale Italian food and wine. We pride ourselves on our genuine hospitality and are looking for individuals who exemplify our passion for service.
As a host(ess), you will greet every guest in a friendly, engaging, and efficient manner. You are responsible for managing our reservation and seating system during busy times, as well as communicating accurate information to our guests.
The host(ess) must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask while maintaining a high level of service. They must be able to stand and walk for up to eight hours per shift and must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and assist with guest inquiries
- Take and manage reservations using Open Table
- Accurately take and process carry-out orders over the phone and in person
- Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth order flow and guest experience
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for periods of eight to ten hours in length each shift
