Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract starting June 1st. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations in a well-equipped healthcare setting west of downtown Chicago.

Location:

• Evanston, IL

Schedule:

• Day shifts 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough review and verification of medication orders to ensure patient safety and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Perform inpatient clinical pharmacy duties including the checking of intravenous (IV) medications
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and communication

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Effective communication and leadership skills for supervising pharmacy technicians
