Job Description
Truck Centers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to launch and grow our innovative Automated Landing Gear product line. This role is critical to introducing the product across the U.S., engaging customers, and building adoption of this new technology. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, confident presenting to customers, and skilled at bridging communication between our OEM partner and Truck Centers, Inc.
This position requires extensive travel (approximately 70%) to pitch and demonstrate the product to fleets, dealers, and other industry stakeholders. In addition to sales and product promotion, the Product Manager will ensure clear, ongoing communication between the OEM and Truck Centers, Inc., providing feedback from the field and helping refine product positioning.
What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary champion for the Automated Landing Gear product, educating fleets, dealers, and end-users on its features and benefits.
- Travel nationwide (70%) to conduct product demos, customer presentations, and training sessions.
- Drive early adoption of the product and meet agreed-upon sales and growth targets.
- Serve as the communication liaison between the OEM and Truck Centers, Inc., relaying product feedback, performance updates, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams on marketing materials, sales tools, and technical support resources.
- Monitor competitor offerings and provide input on product strategy and positioning.
- Assist in developing incentive and commission programs as the product scales.
- Track customer engagement, prepare reports, and present updates to management.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements
- Proven experience in product management, sales, or business development, ideally within the trucking, trailer, or heavy-duty equipment industry.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to launch and grow a new product line.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
