Position Overview:
As a Housekeeping Inspector at Heartwood Furnished Homes, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for inspecting our vacation homes before guest check-ins to ensure they meet our cleanliness and maintenance standards. Your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining pristine vacation homes will contribute directly to our guests' enjoyable stay and our company's reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Check-In Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of vacation homes before guests arrive, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks have been completed to meet company standards.
Quality Assurance: Evaluate the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of each property to ensure they meet or exceed guest expectations.
Maintenance Oversight: Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the maintenance team promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock essential supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies as needed to maintain property readiness.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to coordinate property inspections efficiently.
Documentation: Document and photograph the condition of properties, creating detailed reports for management and maintenance teams.
Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to address any immediate concerns or inquiries regarding their stay.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, property management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to perform light maintenance tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
