Regional CDL-A Truck Driver 1700-1800wk
Operate as a regional CDL‑A driver hauling dry‑van, no‑touch freight on dedicated regional routes. Routes average approximately 2,600 miles per week with consistent, year‑round freight and predictable schedules (14/2 or 23/5 home time patterns).
- Compensation: Mileage pay 57–67¢ per mile; typical weekly mileage ~2,600 miles; estimated weekly earnings $1,700–$1,800 (actual pay varies with miles and home time).
- Equipment and freight: Dry‑van, no‑touch/drop‑and‑hook freight. Fleet includes Mack Pinnacle or Anthem tractors. Consistent regional freight and paid virtual orientation.
- Typical duties:
- Operate company tractor safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Handle drop‑and‑hook deliveries and occasional live loading/unloading as required.
- Complete required driver paperwork and electronic logging accurately and timely.
- Maintain professionalism and communication with dispatch and customers.
- Schedule: Regional patterns with regular home time; common cycles include 14/2 or 23/5.
Minimum qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
- At least 6 months of tractor‑trailer OTR experience within the past 12 months.
- No more than 3 employers within the past 12 months and no more than 6 employers within the past 36 months.
- No safety termination from most recent employer.
- No speeding violations greater than 15 mph (personal or commercial vehicle) in the past 36 months.
- Any probation or incarceration should be at least five years in the past; convictions for violent felonies are disqualifying.
- Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background checks.
