Summary
Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s team at a leading equity derivatives clearing organization. This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices in a hybrid cloud environment.

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Design, deploy, and support highly available cloud and virtualization infrastructure using IaC best practices
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
• Manage and maintain container orchestration platforms and services including Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hybrid cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware), and Linux systems
• Collaborate with DevOps and Application teams to integrate infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain infrastructure security, compliance, and resilience aligned with frameworks such as CIS and NIST
• Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks
• Participate in on-call rotations and production change management processes

What Qualifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, and automation in enterprise environments
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Ruby, knowledge of Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, and containerized application infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Working knowledge of IaaS and cloud-native services across AWS and/or Azure
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex systems and troubleshoot issues under pressure
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a hybrid environment

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent
• Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud certifications
