Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments for goods and services purchased. You will also play a key role in auditing our accounts payable processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Processing payments for goods and services by reviewing invoices, purchase orders, receivers, and entering data into our ERP system
• Printing and obtaining signatures for accounts payable checks
• Maintaining reports, spreadsheets, and filing systems for accounts payable
• Resolving discrepancies and issues with invoices in collaboration with various departments
• Auditing accounts payable processes and reviewing monthly vendor statements
• Analyzing accounts as needed and reporting variances to your supervisor
• Communicating effectively with teammates, vendors, and other departments regarding payables
• Providing administrative support, including filing and data entry, as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in an automated accounts payable environment (experience in manufacturing preferred)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• General accounting support and reconciliation abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external parties
