Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Green Gables recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
- Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during high-volume service
- Ensure all food is prepared to proper temperature and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Keep a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift
- Communicate clearly with kitchen team and FOH staff
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties
- Help restock and rotate inventory as needed
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Basic knife skills and kitchen safety knowledge
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and plating standards
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
