Overview
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based role serving elementary students in Zion, Illinois. Start date is 08/10/2026 for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities
- Conduct formal and informal speech-language assessments for students in grades K–5 to identify communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to support articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathology team, administrators, and families to support IEP outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing goal setting and progress reporting
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy in a school setting and adapt interventions to meet diverse learner needs

Requirements
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to work effectively within an elementary school setting (K–5)
