CNC Machinist

Shift: 1st Shift Only

Heavy fabrication and large-scale machining facility seeking experienced Manual and CNC Machinists to support production of large structural components serving mining, defense and industrial markets.
Machinists will set up and operate 3- and 4-axis equipment and machine components to tight tolerances in a heavy industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and CNC machining equipment
- Set up 3- and 4-axis machines
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Hold tight tolerances
- Perform tooling selection and offsets
- Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers and precision gauges
- Maintain safe and organized work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CNC setup experience required
- 3- and 4-axis experience required
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- G/M code knowledge preferred
- Experience machining large or heavy components strongly preferred
