Role Overview

As a Luxury Residential Leasing Agent , you’ll guide renters through every stage of their apartment search, from first inquiry to finding the ideal apartment. You’ll curate tailored apartment lists, coordinate and lead tours, manage communication with leasing offices, and ensure each client receives seamless, informed, and supportive experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, communicates with confidence, and understands the pace and expectations of Chicago’s downtown rental market.

Primary Responsibilities

• Consult with renters to understand their budget, lifestyle, preferred neighborhoods, and move‑in timeline
• Research available apartments and prepare curated, client‑specific lists
• Schedule and conduct in‑person or virtual tours across downtown Chicago
• Communicate with leasing offices regarding availability, requirements, and application steps
• Maintain organized notes, follow‑ups, and listing updates within our CRM
• Stay informed on Chicago neighborhoods, buildings, pricing trends, and market conditions
• Use social media to market listings, attract new clients, and build your personal brand
• Deliver clear, accurate, and timely communication throughout the entire search

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate or sales
• You must hold an active Illinois Real Estate Broker License or Residential Leasing Agent License to qualify
• License status will be verified prior to onboarding
• Ability to work weekends and peak summer leasing hours
• Reliable smartphone and laptop for daily work
• Strong communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and tours simultaneously
• Familiarity with Chicago neighborhoods and rental buildings (or willingness to learn quickly)

Compensation

This role is commission‑based , with earnings generated from successfully helping clients lease an apartment.
