Machine Operator
Job Location: Columbia, IL
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: Up to $20.00/hr. (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
2nd Shift, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM (Monday to Thursday)***MULTIPLE ROLES AVAILABLE!!!*** What you'll do as a Machine Operator: ● Set up and operate machines based on work orders (written or verbal)
● Use gauges and hand tools to make adjustments, materials and monitor machine performance throughout the run.
● Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting, as needed
● Complete changeovers and record operational data
● Lifting items to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally 100+ lbs with assistance
● Standing, bending, and moving throughout your shift
● Use of vision and coordination to monitor equipment and ensure product quality What We're Looking For: ● Minimum 6 months of machine operator experience required
● Able to read and follow job instructions and material specifications
● Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
