Position Summary: We’re seeking a highly skilled Machine Assembler with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves assembling and mounting machine components to steel or extruded aluminum bases, interpreting blueprints, and operating a variety of machining tools with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and mount machine components to steel or extruded aluminum bases
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate vertical mills, lathes, and cutting/grinding tools to fabricate or modify parts
• Use precision hand and power tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, drills) to ensure accurate fit and alignment
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet build specifications and deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machine assembly or mechanical fabrication
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprint reading
• Proficiency in operating vertical mills, lathes, cutting and grinding tools
• Skilled in using precision hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Basic electrical wiring knowledge
