Job Title: Warehouse Worker - $16-17/HR

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in our container management and racking warehouse system. You will be managing containers and racks that previously housed parts, ensuring they are cleaned and processed for further use. This role is based in East Moline for all racks and in Davenport for a mixture of racks and totes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the washing machine for plastic totes, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning totes.
• Stand throughout the entire shift with scheduled breaks, performing tasks that require bending but no heavy lifting.
• Work in process lanes to manage inbound containers and racks, removing manufacturer tags, and processing items using a hand scanner.
• Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers, standing for the entire shift.
• Operate a forklift for the majority of the day, with occasional tasks off the forklift, to load and unload trucks and ensure the correct containers are shipped by reading paperwork.

Essential Skills

• Experience in forklift operation and passing a forklift test, including maneuvering through cones and handling pallets.
• Proficiency in inventory management and use of RF scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to work overtime, including 10-hour shifts and Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.
• Familiarity with crate building and handling similar products.

Work Environment

This role requires standing for the entire shift with regular breaks, working in a fast-paced environment with tasks involving bending and handling of large containers. The facility operates over extended hours, and you may be required to work overtime and on Saturdays. The work involves using hand tools and operating forklifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
