Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare site layouts, including runways, taxiways, tarmacs, and terminal site designs, as well as utility plans, in support of aviation infrastructure projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in collaboration with project managers.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and interpret survey reports, maps, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and cost estimates.
• Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT Certification or ability to sit for the exam within 12 months of hire.
• Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer, preferred.
• Excellent computer, writing, communication, and customer service skills.
• Exposure to aviation design standards and software is a plus.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
The wage range for this position i s $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and placement into a Civil Engineering Associate I - Civil Engineering Associate IV title.

We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company’s 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure.
