Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team in a challenging yet rewarding industrial environment. This role involves working in a liquid plant, transferring chemicals, and using industrial equipment such as forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and work around pumps to transfer chemicals.
• Use forklift equipment in an industrial setting.
• Connect hoses to tanks for transferring liquid chemicals to totes and drums.
• Manually handle totes of chemicals weighing approximately 35 pounds or use a sit-down forklift.
• Verify products on trucks through written documentation.
• Label drums and totes accurately.
• Perform consistent heavy lifting tasks.
• Work in peroxide and hazardous material transloading departments to transfer chemicals.
• Drive a Spotter truck to move containers around the property as needed.

Work Environment

Our workplace is a full-service chemical storage, handling, and distribution logistics company set in a heavy-duty industrial environment. Candidates will be working in both indoor and outdoor settings, with 50% of the work potentially being outside. The company, which is non-union with approximately 100 employees, requires candidates to be comfortable working near hazardous chemicals.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minooka, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
