Exciting Opportunity in the Homewood, IL area: School-Based Occupational Therapist – OT
PediaStaff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We're currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($62-85K per year) in the Homewood, IL area. Qualifications:- MS-OT Degree or higher
- IL license or eligible
- Previous experience working with kids in a school or medical setting, fieldwork counts
Position Details:
- Schedule: full-time
- Dates: school year, immediate need-May
- Hours: approximately 8a-3p daily based on the school calendar
- Setting: school
- Caseload: to be discussed at the interview
- In-person only
- Work-life balance, no weekend sessions, no late nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop comprehensive IEPs for students in a school setting.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy.
- Supervise OTA-level providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve student outcomes holistically.
