Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, working with various systems including mechanic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You will contribute to the setup of equipment and perform extensive documentation throughout the production process. Additionally, you will handle production line startups and repairs, as well as conduct preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Repair Blow/Filling/Sealing/Labeling machines that produce bottles filled with sterile saline solutions.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Set up equipment and maintain heavy documentation throughout the production process.
• Handle production line startup and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLCs as needed.

Essential Skills

• Industrial maintenance expertise.
• Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in machinery setup and maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of maintenance experience in plastics, molding, medical/pharma, or food industries OR 5+ years of process technician experience from the plastics industry.
• Experience with machinery setup and documentation protocols.
• Nice to have 3+ years of blow fill seal machinery experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
