Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality primary care services to patients under the supervision of our physicians. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
