Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift

Join a growing team where your mechanical skills make an impact every day. We’re looking for hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Assemblers to help build high‑quality industrial sweeping machines in a clean, climate‑controlled environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll work with clear instructions and a variety of hand and power tools to build complete industrial sweepers. You’ll rotate through four assembly stations , each offering new challenges as you learn and grow.

Your daily work will include:

• Building hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical sub‑assemblies
• Using hand tools, screw guns, sockets, and wrenches
• Installing key components: brakes, tires, engines, lift arms, radiators, hoses, and harnesses
• Electrifying machines and finishing with sheet metal and hopper installation
• Completing tasks that take approximately 4–5 hours per station

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical assembly or mechanic experience
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read work instructions and follow assembly steps
• Experience in hydraulics, engine repair, or heavy mechanical work is a plus
• Experience from military, trade school, automotive, or manufacturing is highly valued

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampshire, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
