Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Flexera One Engineer with a strong background in cloud cost optimization and Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization ( CCO). This is for a Fortune 200 company and is a remote 12-18+ month contract ( with potential for extension and/or conversion to perm).
In this role, you will:
- Monitor and analyze cloud usage/cost trends across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Implement cost optimization strategies (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, right-sizing)
- Develop dashboards/reports in tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- Enforce tagging standards and cost allocation policies
- Automate cost management workflows using Python or PowerShell
- Serve as the Flexera One CCO administrator
Qualifications:
- 5+ years overall IT experience, including 2+ years in a FinOps role
- Strong understanding of cloud pricing models & native cost management tools
- Flexera One CCO experience required
