Job Description

This position involves folding and packing finished products, placing them into packaging, and requires standing throughout the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Fold finished product and prepare for packaging.
• Place folded products into designated packaging.
• Maintain quality standards during packing process.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing and production is beneficial.
• Ability to fold products efficiently.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous packing experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This role is within a Contract Manufacturing Medical Device Company experiencing significant growth. The St. Charles location houses 800 employees, with a production floor consisting of 75% industrial sewing machines in a clean GMP environment. Hair nets and beard nets are required, though the facility is not climate-controlled, and may get hot during summer months. Fans are utilized to mitigate heat. The workforce is diverse, with over five to six languages spoken. Candidates who are not fluent in English can succeed with translation technology. Shifts available are 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with voluntary overtime available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
