Responsibilities
- Assess patients using age-specific data and document physical and psychosocial status to guide individualized care plans.
- Perform ongoing assessments, document findings, and respond to lab results, imaging, and patient responses to interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary planning to identify and address patient needs, supporting optimal outcomes.
- Deliver direct patient care, including procedures and monitoring, and assist other staff as appropriate.
- Provide patient teaching and discharge planning to promote safe transitions and understanding of aftercare.

Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license (Nursys) required.
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required; ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start.
- Minimum 2+ years ICU experience.
- Skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to the ICU specialty.
- Two Supervisory Reference Forms completed with dates of employment.
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program; able to work in a hospital ICU setting.
- Availability for night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; weekends every other weekend as described.
